Disrupts phone use

So, I thought this would be the greatest way to see stuff ever- but as soon as I am signed into the app- my headphones lose any ability to hear incoming or outgoing calls. It is the oddest thing ever. We tried all sorts of options and tested a ton. But it boils down to I cannot use my phone for phone calls cause they cannot hear me nor can I hear anything if I am signed into the xfinity streaming app. Weather the app is open or not. Makes absolutely no sense since everyone advertises you can do both. So, my phone is a phone for a reason - I have deleted the app
