Doesnt keep everything

I dont understand. My actual DVR is only 62% full with movies and hundreds of episodes of shows. But the app says its 90% full with no movies and about 100 episodes shows.

Why is it so different? Why cant I access everything from my DVR on my devices?

Help??!!
