I am writing this review because your app can be frustrating there are A LOT of commercials. To make it worse you have to watch the same ones over a over. But over all you can watch more movies/shows then other apps.

New Update is Horrible

When trying to browse through shows or movies tons of error messages pop up mainly being theres no data for that program try again over and over and eventually the program will come up with data. Then when you finally select a program to watch it starts to play then stops then stops then reloads then plays over and and over again so you never get to watch your show or movie. It also doesnt have all TV shows like before and most channels that I watch are not available on the app only when Im on tv. Same goes for movies the only ones that show are foreign films mainly Indian not the genre I watch. If you pay for a service and say you can watch it in the app you shouldnt cap what youre allowed to watch. Terrible app! Old version was the best xfinity tv go because at least you got to watch something. Now its just a useless app you cant use. Thanks Comcast for more terrible service. For the newest update: the app is still capped you cannot watch all the tv shows and movies that you get on the cable box through the app which is pointless for me as I spend more time on the road than at home during the week.

HORRIBLE!!!!

Wont open, glitches! Wont let me watch any movies and wont let me search. Xfinity needs to fix this right now!!!

Love the app

App just not working.....

Lets me sign in but when I go to live section, no channels or programs show up on guide. Works perfectly on my iPhone; just doesnt work on my iPad. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Buggy and works on and off

Updated- June- still a piece of crap on 4 devices.. nice updates!! I wish I could do zero stars! If you read these reviews- take them seriously! This is not a tech support issue but a horribly working app. I have 4 devices in my house and all are buggy. Example- playback of videos recorded jump ahead for no reason (second time reporting this!!) Downloading content to your phone is interrupted non-stop causing it not to download. Sometimes- for example I have a whole season of The Flash on CW- none of the episodes from this year (2016-17) will download to my device. However, other shows will then jump around during playback- tested on two devices. Things dont show up to play or do play even when on my home wifi with multiple reboots of the router, cable box, phone and any other BS the tech support offers. Your change to "STREAM" did nothing but put lipstick on a pig as this new version does not work. Garbage app and very disappointing but Amazon, CNBC and Netflix work fine on my network and remote and this is just plain bad.

Get a better cable company

My Xfinity My Account app tells me Im connected to my home WiFi. The TV Go app tells me Im not connected to my home network. Spoiler alert: Im writing this review from my home network! Ive restarted the device, the app, and the modem. Nothing works. I wonder why so many people are dropping cable all together? Save your time, energy, and nerves. AVOID XFINITY LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Great app need to get rid of a few bugs first.

First of all let me say I love the direction this is going in and when the bugs are all fixed this app will be a reason to keep cable. My bug is when downloading a show that I recorded it starts downloading then before it is done it stops and restarts at the beginning. It gets further and further each time but has yet to get to 100%. Please fix this bug. This has potential to be a 5+ star app. Another bug happens when I stream items from my recorder to this app over home Wi-Fi. It skips and jumps and makes it impossible to watch. They havent fixed the bugs of this app thus it is useless. You need to really work on this app like it is your only hope because it is. If this app would work consistently and not have all these bugs I will keep my subscription but if it doesnt after a year Im probably going to cancel. The potential of this app makes Xfinity worth the money because you cant get this anywhere else. So if you want to save subscribers you better put some time and money into this app because potential is great but at some point im going to give up trying to watch the shows.

They Broke It

This worked well most of the time, until the last update. Now in-home playback of recorded shows frequently returns an "8001 Error", whatever that is. And refuses to play back any recorded shows on any mobile device. Oddly, playback is possible through the XFinity website through a laptop, but that really defeats the purpose of having an app.

Great tool

We dont have a TV in our kitchen. We use it every morning to watch the news.

Rarely works

Almost every single time I try to play a show, it says "playback error try again later." Cool.

This App Blows!

The only think I use this App for is travel. All of my other apps either allow me to stream to Chromecast, Apple TV or via a direct HDMI cable link to a TV in the hotel. This App ONLY allows you to view it on your mobile device. On top of that, Comcast is one by one eliminating access to log into premium channel apps which do allow you to cast to a larger screen. These are channels that I already pay for!!! Comcast is just so greedy that they want to force everyone to their own proprietary crappy App!

I really wish they had an Apple TV App

I cant really complain too much about this app, for what I use it for its just fine. I just really wish they had and Apple TV version of the APP.

Junk

Constantly freezes up. The earlier version worked better. Cant download recorded movies or shows to iPad. Downloads for a while,and stops, then starts downloading from the beginning again. Never completes a download! Please fix it.

BETTER!

This app went from a one star two or four, closer to five, in one update… Adding bookmarking – favorites – is the best option! Thank you, Thank you Xfinity for listening.

Home page automatic log in!!

U guys also please fix the automatic log in page and downloads please faster! That would be a 5 star! Yup! So please if u can soon!

Not always HD, poor connectivity and playback, recorded shows are impossible to tolerate

My current biggest issue is trying to watch recorded shows. While available, it is a huge pain to actually wait for the recording to buffer. And when I stop in the middle to resume, or know Ive seen a section already and want to fast forward, it will start where I drag the timeline for about 5 seconds, then restarts from the beginning. Most frustrating experience ever.
