This app and my access to REAL live tv on my iPad and iPhone with xfinity is the only reason I havent changed to google fiber. There are other over-the-air live tv services but none of them have real live tv in my market (as in, a lot of channels like ABC, FOX, CBS, and NBC are on-demand only, without live tv) so this app is a great stand out and actually works great

Wont work with AirPlay

- you can only watch certain things on the go. So unless you are at home it is unavailable to watch on demand. - you cant use this app unless you are on a mobile device or computer. - you can NOT use it on Xbox one, PS4, and Apple TV ect. Those are the biggest issues I have about this app....the list goes on for Comcast as a whole. Unfortunately, this app is just an example of them trying to control their customers viewing experience. They continue to fail to change. NOBODY wants to pay for a cable box anymore, most people want to view their content through Internet streaming. I get this is a business but as a customer Id like to view any content I PAY for anyway I dmn well please.

In the app it says you can stream live tv but for some reason it doesnt work and when it does its only during the commercials. I mean the money you pay for Comcast service and you cant even have an app that is sustainable to watch a sporting event. And half the time Im on wifi and it still says there is no live event on today. Terrible app

After I play games when Im finished and I use xfinity stream because my bother hog the tv so I think this is a great app.

The premise of this app is great, however some crucial features are poorly implemented. Downloads to device, for example, require excellent internet to be successful. The system is unable to recover from even brief disruptions in connectivity, and must re-download the entire show from the beginning in such an event. While downloading 3 shows on Netflix over spotty airport wifi, I was unable to download even one saved DVR show, the connection would rest every 20 minutes or so, and I was never able to complete the download.

Great for viewing at home or away. DVR management is weak, but there is a different App for that.

So fast forward is terrible doesnt work. Crashes the app. I use my DVR to fast forward by the commercials but app freezes and I have to restart app. Also I type in a channel number and it says not found. Needs fixing asap!

It allows you to download programs youve recorded. However there are numerous bugs that cause the program to stop and play without sound. You end up missing parts of the program because of the stuttering and sound gaps. This is of course IF you can download. Most times it downloads up to 70% then goes back to zero% and starts all over never downloading your show. It also doesnt show in the list all the shows on your DVR. Comcast help is no help either. They transfer you and drop your call frequently.

This app is so frustrating. I tried downloading some TV shows that we had recorded to my iPhone so I could watch them on an airline flight. The app told me they had downloaded to my phone but they didnt show up in the downloads. Then we couldnt watch them on the TV later because it said they had been downloaded to my phone. Ugh! So frustrating!

Watching at home on wifi, iPhone 7+ 256. Home internet is Comcast, have a strong connection to my network from device, start to watch a show and then it freezes the show to prompt me to connect to a cellular network. Doesnt make any sense, deleting app.

This is just bad. Cant do anything without a error, and the selections are just not showing up properly.

When Im gone from the house on work or a trip I want to be able to AirPlay to my AppleTV, but you block it. I need this when Im paying an outrageous amount of money for this service and you treat my accessing ability like it doesnt matter. Fix it please! Ill change the review when you fix it.

The app is very choppy and doesnt perform well unless youre using extremely fast wifi. The app just isnt reliable enough for daily use and is very frustrating to navigate through.

I love the app, you can watch recorded movies or programs now thats awesome.

I used this app often but after todays update it wont let me stream anything. Says I must be on my home wifi. I AM on my home wifi! Ive tried rebooting my iPad, deleting and then re-downloading the app, chatting with customer service (which got me no where). Frustrated!

Use different login for kids but recent shows still show up. Either comcast doesnt care or they dont know how to code. Neither speaks well of the coders they have working on this app. If comcast put half the effort into the app as they do into constant rebranding of the app it would be a much better product! Made with love in Philadelphia? Doubt it. Rushed out to try rubbish to inflict on customers is more like it.

It wont let me watch TV because it thinks I am not on my home network, even though I actually am.

I really like this app by xfinity, very user friendly. The app is easier to navigate than the actual cable I use in the house. I like that you can record shows and watch them while there recording. I like how theres a huge index of tv shows and movies on demand to watch whenever You want to! I like how you have a list of most recent channels on the home page, that makes it very easy and quick to flip between different shows; I use that a lot while I am watching different sporting events. I was surprisingly surprised and pleased with the app. Now if you can get the house hold cable to work this flawless that would be even better. Look at direct tv system and Im sure you will make it better in no time. Keep it up the good work and improvements!
