Update: the app has improved significantly I no longer run into "in home only" no where near as often hence the upgrade in stars. It still has some glitches but they have been improving. The new app is horrible I cannot watch the shows I used to watch on the old app because its "in home only" seriously? Why have a TV go app if most of my shows can only be watched in home. How does Comcast/xfinity, you can change the name but its still the same bad service, bring a new version of this app out thats worse than the old one. If I could I would give it negative stars.

Title says it all

Maybe one of the worst moves made by Comcast was to get rid of the basic , easy to use , "Xfinity TVGO" app... now they make it so I cannot use that app and I am forced to try and use this one. When it comes to this new app, its so condensed, so slow, its pitiful !!! Like what were they thinking by taking away something consumers loved!!! I demand everyone listen up... you need to write a review or let Comcast know how you really feel. We need to bring the normal old xfinity tv go app back or else I am removing xfinity from everything !! Terrible terrible terrible and Comcast will never care to read or listen to anybody and their reviews on here... poor service. UPDATE: 5/10/17 The app is still so pitiful. Its painfully slow and incapable of doing pretty much anything past 20 seconds. Want to watch live tv? Forget about it. Unless you want to restart the app or channel every 20 seconds. I mean it takes 30 seconds as it is to load something every time I click it... what is this 2005 dial up internet? No the internet and my cellular service isnt the problem... its the apps problem. Comcasts problem for creating such an inhabitable app compared to its competition. Be ashamed!

Amazing to be able to have your entire tv box in your app,recorded shows, live tv, on demand and missed episodes. You can even schedule ahead. Brilliant!! Thank you!!!

Works well for catching up, or watching past seasons.

For the most part I would recommend xfinity to anyone. However, not all shows/movies can be watched live. But they do offer a good variety to choose from.

Simply not ready for prime time. Frequent playback issues and many viewing restrictions (why show me listings of shows that I can only be watched at home?). Cable is going the way of the home telephone anyway, but I thought this app may delay that transition a bit. Wrong - it only encouraged me to reduce my comcast tier and seek alternative streaming sources.

Great app overall, but as they claim you cant download shows. Every time I go to download one, it gets to 80 percent and then it restarts over and over. And the time I happen to get it downloaded, it skips half the show. Not happy with that. Would appreciate if it gets fixed.

As I was watching the program it keep cutting off, on and off then it cut off to another show, this app need a fixing

This used to be a five star app now I cant even open a show without an error takes forever to load and I cant even get it to load beyond an error screen.

All these years this was only a dream!!!! Now, its a given!!!

I really enjoy watching my shows at my leisure. I just wish I could Airsream them.

Its unbelievable how they lie. I just watched Buster Posey on a commercial say "stream the game live." Every time I try to stream a live game it says "in home only." I guess that means that I can only watch it on my Home TV, because I am in my home trying to stream it on a device and it wont work! I do have to give it credit for how it interfaces with the DVR function. It does stream recorded video very efficiently and allows for deleting watched shows easier than on the desktop, which asks for too many confirmations and then finally tells you it completed the task and you have to keep pressing "OK" over and over, very annoying!

Get to take it anywhere!

Why have you not updated this to allow for playing via Chromcast (and similar devices)? I have to go to each individual network app to watch things I could easily watch from this app! I am paying for the cable service so I should be able to watch it in the way that is most convenient for me...not you!

Comcast usually drops the ball on a lot of things but this app is great. I watch all my shows on the go and it works great b

I am able to watch movies and tv shows on my iPad or iPhone and dont have to be at home!

Newest version for ipad is complete garbage. Used to be able to stream MLB network, now it isnt even listed as a channel that is watchable. Really stupid app works on android but any channel I try to watch on ipad tells me I need a subscription to watch. Get rid of the newest version, the old one worked just fine.

Continually freezes and/or wont load- both recorded, searched, and live TV. I have just started watching shows on the network specific apps--- much easier.
