Keeps freezing and getting stuck!

I have been trying for like 3 hours to watch 2 episodes of a tv show and it keeps freezing and getting stuck! So frustrating! What a crappy app!

One of the best features of this app is now gone. The former setup was so much better. It was nice to see what movies were on starting every 1/2 hour, and what time the movie started and ended. The "Film Poster" was also useful tool and nice touch. I thought that I was seeing things, or there was a temporary glitch with the app, so I powered off my iPad and turned it back on to see if that would help. Nope. Please fix this.

Great App

Great App I wish they would make an Audio only version where you could just listen I the car with out the bandwidth use of video.

Doesnt consistently playback

I get a ton of lag while trying to stream my downloaded shows. I have to download them to my device to watch them seamlessly. If they could get playback to work well, would be 5 stars. Very frustrated with difficulties streaming. Problem isnt my internet or 4g because Netflix and amazon playback is solid.

Terrible App

The app is constantly having issues playing a show. It skips around or will start all over again while in the middle of watching it. Its extremely frustrating!!!

Get it together

I thought it was just me and my app. It freezes and cant get it to work. Im trying to delete and reinstall but its getting worse

Not good

This app used to work well, but lately it buffers constantly, randomly skips several seconds, or just refuses to play, even when connected to wifi. It is impossible to watch anything. Terrible.

8001 Error

8/7 Dear Developer. Recorded an unauthorized biography of Rihanna. Watched it. Not Rihanna. It was all in Chinese. Is this an oops? 7/29 Dear Developer, looks like Hacksaw Ridge got fixed. Dear Developer. The last private message identifies me entirely. Do me a favor then end expedite my ESCALATED response from about 30 days ago. Dear Developer. There are private messages to ComcastMax, ComcastChe, and ComcastZach. If you type in that horrendous URL you post you get redirected. The last message was 7/27. All 6 are unread. One show worked from last night. Hacksaw Ridge plays goofy. Dear developer. One recording worked this afternoon. However, Hacksaw Ridge screws up around 2:06. Downloaded Hacksaw Ridge. Still screws up. Dear Developer, went back to the forums. We have sent a number of messages. 6 of 6 unread. One recording worked this morning. 7/28. Dear Developer, we did all the account specific stuff. Absolutely everything is ok. Why don,t you focus on fixing it for everybody. Then I will be happy. Still waiting for my escalation response. Dear Developer, your response had a seven hour delay before it showed up. I have been to your forum sites, about a month ago. Some good got done. But absolutely nothing of permanence happened as evidenced by much more 8001 errors and now other Playback malfunctions. Update 7/27 evening. Got another recording to play. Tried Hacksaw Ridge. At the 2:06 point it plays about 50 seconds and then goes back to the 2:06 point. COMCAST, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Update 7/27. I got a new recording to actually play. Perhaps you fixed something. Keep it that way. Of course the previous five did not work. Dear Developer, I checked again at 7 PM. Guess what, I got another one. I AM PAYING FOR THIS! I schedule a show to record. You record it on the Comcast cloud? You show I now have a recording. I go to play it. I get Playback Issue::8001 Now you are either under resourced, devious, or criminal. What else could it be? DEAR DEVELOPER, when you get one of these errors, it says try again later, each and every time. I now have approximately 8 of these, in a month. Dear developer. Tried it your way. I went to On Demand. Guess what, Playback Issue::8001. COMCAST FIX THE DEVELOPER! Read the developer response. I do not record these programs. You do. It only took about a month to hear from you. Now what? Why give me the option to record something when you cannot or will not do it. Is this the ESCALATED response? Update 7/26 morning. Got another Playback Issue::8001 Update. Have another Playback Issue::8001 Update 7/25. Two more recordings have Playback Issue :: 8001 COMCAST PLEASE FIX THE APP Well, Sunday morning, most of it is fixed. I think they stuck in a series of commercials before Blues Brothers. Kind of changes the definition of a recording. I still have three recordings unwatchable. It is now over a month. The problem was ESCALATED over three weeks ago. No contact. Update as of 7/23. Hey the data issue 404 got fixed. However, I now have 14 recordings. I can play NONE of them. Movies on demand - DOES NOT WORK. Try playing the Blues Brothers. See what you get. It does not matter what device, nor what internet path you use. If I use my cell phone without wifi it does not work either. COMCAST - PLEASE FIX Update as of 7/3. I looked at movies on demand. I found 29 movies with "Data Issue::404" I did not poll all the movies. There has been no resolution on the playback errors. COMCAST, FIX THIS. I AM PAYING FOR THIS. I have this error on the playback of some recordings. We tried to troubleshoot on chat. That led to my modem going down 4 times in an hour. That is a sure fire way to end a chat session. We then had extremely limited service. We could only get some 13 channels. We tried phone help at several different levels. We checked our account. OK there. Everybody bewildered. We found a forum, spelled it out, did some private email, and got the service back along with our 8001 error. A tech was sent out. Every connection from the pole to the modem was disconnected, inspected, and renewed. This installation is less than a year old. The signal strength is great. This modem has two speeds, which Comcast joined. The tech split them. The 8001 error persists. Techs do NOT troubleshoot apps. Somebody was supposed to call yesterday afternoon. It did not happen. COMCAST, FIX THE APP!

Just the worst ever

Simply garbage, this Ap is the worst. License issue, connectivity issue , not authorized, etc, just some of the many erroneous error messages. What is worse, it often decides to move you from your home network to cell service! Thank goodness we have Netflix, Showtime and Amazon Prime for our device entertainment. They connect reliably. I have added FIOS to the house. Comcast has to fix this to stay with us. The Ap is useless. It seems to be have been developed by people had no concern whatsoever that it had to actually work.

The latest updated made it unusable on my iPad. I can open it, see the home page, if Im lucky navigate a bit of the menu. As soon as I select something to watch the whole thing freezes. Update: the app on my phone is no longer working either.

I CHUCKED MY PHONE ACROSS THE ROOM

I chucked my $700 phone across my room and was so frustrated I was almost in tears because your stupid update. FIX IT!!! It keeps skipping back to the same spot and no matter how much I try to fix the problem I keep hearing the same scene in the same spot over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. I just want to watch my shows! Whoever made this app is less intelligent than a monkey with no brain! honestly I pay so much money for your service and your horrible customer service, new tv system, and lack of effort on making this app even half decent, shows you do not care about me or my money because Im about to walk away from your garbage services. This app is the worst of the worst though. I want my tv on the go not added stress!

Too Glitchy

It buffers every fifteen seconds, basically. I cant watch one episode of a show, not even in my own house connected to my wifi. Im very dissatisfied...

Xfinity short fall

There was a feature in Xfinity stream that would be perfect for this app. That was listing movies by channel and time slot. It was easy to locate a playing or upcoming move and what channel to watch it on. This needs to be added to third app.

This app is so bad that the company should no longer be in existence

I have X1. One of the main reasons I pay a ridiculous monthly fee for a stupid program is to watch TV on the go. Oh, whats that I cant do that for some channels. Oh whats that those channels that I cant watch are all the ones that I want to watch. I currently am at work and cannot watch the Opening Day Red Sox game because I have to be in my own home to watch it. But here is the thing. If I am in my own home, I will watch it on my TV. One of the dumbest concepts ever. Whoever designed this app must have mush for a brain and his/her mother must have gotten really wasted while she was pregnant with his/her because this app design could literally be made by four homeless guys after you shot them all in the head and dipped them in acid. I hope the app sees this so one day that can fire whoever created this app and improve it. I really hope they change what they are doing and get some help, I really do. Update as of 8/6 this app is still terrible. It has somehow gotten worse since I wrote this review in April

Kinda works

I can watch live TV ok on my iPad Air 2, but recorded shows skip around and buffer. Only way I can watch anything is to download it to the device first.

Problems while watching recordings

While I am watching a show I recorded I will skip past the ads and then during my show it will keep freezing and showing the beginning of the recording and sometimes even restart the whole thing. Please fix this it really bugs me.

The App is broken

Only able to play 45 mins of a recorded movie from my iPad. Terrible playback issues, as well as video/audio sync issues. Please fix it, paying way too much for these problems.
