Blocking Apple Play...well, I stick with everything else thats modern and customer centric. Try again.

Missing Channel, On The Go Limited, Need Home Button, Not perfect Yet

Missing channel 234 ("Buzzr" TV) in our area, maybe some more; "On The Go" channels very, very, very limited; App still not stable - select a channel number (9 dots within the square icon on top right of page) disappeared at one point, program pauses when use pull down channel list or when something else is going on, several channels (245 "Antenna TV"), 893 ("Investigation Discovery"), etc., etc., etc. wouldnt connect because of 3305 non-connection faults; getting better but needs mucho more work by developer - its like a Beta version not ready for prime time. By the way - developer should inform users that they can remove single channels from recent channel listing along the bottom of the page (those you see when press the circular arrow with clock hands in it at top right of page) by pressing firmly down on the channel icon you want to remove, then press small circle with a - inside it in the right hand upper corner.

Confused

So I was able to sign onto this app on my phone but when I tried to sign in for my daughter it kept saying my account could not be authorized because the email or password was incorrect. I will have her try again...again. But this is rather annoying

Update does not work

I can no longer watch recorded shows on my mobile device. I wish I would have never updated.

Still no AirPlay; Lags/jumps around

Comcast wont let me AirPlay from my iPhone or iPad to a TV in my home--very anti-consumer and probably why theyre losing customers. Playing back shows usually jumps around. When played back through the cable box its perfect, go figure.

Doesnt work as advertised

While Comcast/Xfinity claims you can use this "anywhere" the reality is not so. As soon as you leave your in-home wifi, you lose access to most of your recordings, on-demand, and live TV. False advertising.

Terrible

Somehow, no matter what, it will never load what I want to watch. It will be able to load and play everything else except what I want to watch. If Im desperate Ill restart my iPad and delete the app and only then will it sometimes work. 9/10 times I record something it will record the first five minutes and nothing else. Unfortunately, this is my only way of watching xfinity as of right now, so Im stuck with this terrible app.

DO NOT UPDATE: New app has removed recordings....can not take on the go.

The new update will not let you access new recordings. CAN NOT TAKE ON THE GO. Was insulted by two different support workers when calling in to ask for help.

In home? NOT

There are too many movies and shows that I cant watch. I am at home, on home network, but still cant get shows or movies. For those wondering why I dont just go to the tv, there are times when, although at home, I am not near a tv. "Available to watch in home only " is a farce.

Awful

Old update was much better this is such a waste now I cant see my shows outside of my house, how much I pay for cable should give me and I everyone else access whenever we want ?

Needs improving

Freezes often and error messages pop up all the time. Has definitely gotten worse with each update.

Homerun

The dev team in Philadelphia knocked this one out of the park. This app has come such a long way since X1 launched three years ago. We were One of the first customers in the Denver market to get the service we actually had one of the lead developers of the system come to our house to do the install. Of course with any new service it was buggy, glitchy, and occasionally had outages but since getting Comcast again last month we have been blown away. Does everything as advertised a big win for Comcast!

Chromecast? AppleTV? Out of home?

App needs chromecast and AppleTV streaming support. All channels should be available out of home.

Well its useful when Im not at home or my remote isnt working but the on demand on the app needs to improve

Worst update

Live TV is missing so many channel seems the new update. Get it together Xfinity. Paying for a service that you guys cannot deliver. Missing the old tv go app.

UPDATE 3/25: recordings are now available to view in grid form! Thanks for listening to our feedback and making updates accordingly! 5 stars! I love this app. The improvements made by Comcast over the past 10 years is seriously unbelievable. I used to hate comcast, now Im a life long customer because of apps like this and the X1 box. Please create a grid view for the "Recordings" page, instead of just a list view. Right now, only the just for you page has a grid view. Thanks!

Please,please fix...the new update totally ruined this app for me...I truly enjoyed using but now it wont open at all...pleaseee fix it..

Better than most

Its a handy little app. Pros. It makes following news and shows great.. Cons. Takes too much time if you want to switch channels ...the favorites list messes up and is cumbersome....also to watch shows on the go ...NOT ...just a few...the rest you have to be at home ...local channels are hurt because Im forced to watch CNN instead of my local news on the go...big boo for keeping up with whats going on in my area.
