Xfinity Stream App Reviews

Every so often the listing for live TV drops every channel except CMT. You used to be able to logout (forgetting the device), then logging back in, then the channels would be there. The app updated last night and now the only channel you get is CMT. Logging out and back in doesnt help anymore. Terrible app!!! Unless the only thing you like to watch is country music videos...

App is fine however you cant stream to Apple TV in my own home where I already pay to have all the content. Stop being greedy. Sony was greedy and locked out MP3 in the early digital revolution. It dont turn out well for them.

With latest update, cannot live stream anything - error 101000 appears, saying pick another channel, but get same error code no matter what. Please fix!

You guys have finally updated the app so that we can now watch our favorite shows outside of our homes and, on demand which we deserve, since we pay a hefty bill every month, but we cant "really" view our programs because every 5 seconds it stops and lags. All of these updates does not matter if we cant view our cable without interruptions every few seconds. Can you please get this corrected??

I huge negative is lack of fast forward function. An example is, I was watching one of my favorite hour long TV shows and fell asleep with a few minutes left. When I woke in the morning, I couldnt start over and fast forward to where I fell asleep. I had to rewatch almost the entire episode. Also, requires constant updates to function.

Since most of the content I try to watch away from home is disallowed, what is the point? This app is a waste of time.

Need to have an option for auto extend for live events like the cable box does.

This would be such a great app IF it worked! Consistently kicks you out or doesnt run at all. When it does work its great, but, dont depend on it.

No option to cast to chrome devices on iOS, rendering this app useless on an iPhone.

I cant buy nor rent through the app. How is this as same as the deco itself if I cant do everything I can with the deco. Needs to be better! Dont download it. At least is free and I can erase it from my phone.

I only wish I could watch CBS/CNN Live, other than that its fantastic.

Missing channel 234 (Buzzr TV) in our area, maybe some more; "On The Go" channels very, very limited; App still not stable (select a channel (squares within squares icon top right of page) disappeared at one point, couldnt get anything but HD channels, program pauses when use pull down channel list); developer should inform that you can remove single channels from recent channel listing by pressing firmly down on channel icon you want to remove, then press small circle in right hand upper corner; getting better but needs mucho more work by developer - its like an Alpha or Beta version not ready for issuance.

When I try to airplay-most channel and video show license issue. Why play only on mb when you drive.. its poor design.

For the record, I have not been paid by anyone to write this review as another reviewer had suggested. Having said that, the app is fantastic and consistently works for me on multiple devices, providing exactly what the company says the app will provide. Read the description so you can get an idea of what content will be available where, and be sure you have a reliable and fast Internet connection, and you will not have any problems. I dont understand all the negative reviews, as I have not had any issues. I love this app and highly recommend it.

This app is like having cable on the go.

I like to search onDemand movies, click the movies and I will check the info and click another movie below to read the descriptions, I then have to click the back button so many times to go back. Please make a home button!

I was watching a recording and it kept on pausing and i even updated it!

I had xfinity tv go app before they change it where it was the true definition of watching tv shows and movies anytime and anywhere however xfinity down graded themselves and there customers with this "upgrade" version of their app. Yes you can which tv and movie anytime however certain tv shows and movies I want to watch I need to be at house using the wifi connection?????. I dont know about you but thats not watching tv shows and movie anywhere if I cant watch it when Im at work or school. Xfinity need change back their app and really have us watch shows and movie anytime and ANYWHERE we are without needing are home wifi.
