Stupid I cant watch the same on demand shows upstairs on my iPad that I can downstairs on my TV. Limits the on demand available shows/episodes.
I used to enjoy this app, but now nothing works and I have xfinitys supposed fastest internet speed. Total garbage nothing loads and when I launch the app it freezes. If you are going to make an app, have it work. I am connected with my home wifi and still nothing. Troubleshooting is all garbage too. Need to rethink how to make this app work before making promises!
This app is horrible. Streaming is choppy most of the time and that is when I can even view a recorded or on demand show. Most of the time when I try to watch a recorded show or an on demand show I receive error codes. Very disappointed.
This app was fine until it wasnt. Most of the times that I try to watch recordings on my phone or laptop Ill receive an error or it would be a significantly shortened version of my recording so now I can basically only watch my recordings in home. Get it together Xfinity. Ppl pay way too much for these services to deal with stuff like this!
Comcast now provides an entire section of perversion for all your family members to see, whether you like it or not! To he** with what customers think, its profits, profits, profits! They also load-up most of their programming with way too many commercials! What a rip-off!
Playback issues. Get used to it
The XFINITY Stream App is not handicapped accessible. My 82 year old mother cannot view her iPad on her tv via her costly Apple TV like she use to do. She has no problem with Netflix and other tv apps -- watching tv on her iPad is not an option for that generation... I was able to get the xfinity app to work on my windows laptop to her tv via an hdmi cable, but her purchasing yet another piece of technology on her limited income is NOT an option...
Let me hook my phone to any tv with any channel
Sometimes my recordings play and sometimes it either starts as a 30 minute recording (in the middle of the show) or it doesnt play at all. At times I am able to watch via the "TV on the go" option. Defeats the purpose of having the app when you are unable to utilize the options it is supposed to provide. Please fix.
I downloaded one movie and three episodes of a TBS show and absolutely none of them worked . It is impossible to make it more than a few minutes without halting, restarting and/or freezing. On top of that the downloads are impossibly slow compared to Amazon Prime video downloads. Live watching works well enough, but the new download capability simply does not work
The March 20th update of this app left me without several channels. All I get on this app for several cable and premium channels is blank boxes. The same for my iPhone and my PC. Ninety-plus percent of the time Im using our Comcast home Wi-Fi. Yesterday I called customer service and they indicated that nobody else has any problems. They must not read these reviews as several folks have noted various problems with the app. My wife, who has the identical iPad has no problems because she did not update the application. I sure wish I hadnt. HELP!
I like it although I think it could be improved especially when navigating through real time TV shows.

Spent 2 hours on phone comcast/xfinity. Even after I explained the problem, they rest my internet. The problem is/was this app no longer supports the kindle fire. I was told this after 2 hours!!! Since I only use my kindle to watch this app, Im 8 months in to a 2 year contract, and I have to pay early termination fee, Are you kidding me??!!! No notification that they were no longer supporting kindle. Especially when you open the app and it buffers for 3 minutes, uninstall/reinstall dozens of times. Then get redirected to Google Play - what kind of BS is that? No good recommendation from me. Its no wonder you have the worst customer service rating. Bye-bye Comcast/Xfinity!!
This used to be a great app but recently the downloads have not been working. They will cut out every few seconds and rewind and after a while stop working all together. Its unfortunate as it used to work fine before the upgrade.
Tried this "updated" app, in an attempt to stay caught up on my shows while staying at a relatives house-who ALSO has xfinity wi-fi, as well as my 3g service.I could NOT get any of them to stream, and I tried for THREE DAYS!! Do not get this fraudulent app, it is crap!
I use this app to record tv shows so I dont have to bother by husband when he is watching tv. Up until now it had been great. The app could not be used tonight because there is a lot of blank spaces where tv shows should have been. I deleted the app and reinstalled still the same problem. Please fix. It was is much easier to set recordings with the app then on the tv.
This app would be awesome if it worked with chrome cast. As soon as I see the update Ill come back with five stars. Peace...
