Xfinity Stream App Reviews

New App never works. One error after another. I literally have not been able to watch a full show since they came out with this Stream App. I just got off chat with customer support and they had no answer for me on how to fix it. They said they would look into it. Great.

Other app worked fine. This one wont download my shows. BS

Kept trying to restart the app and used wifi in several places and it does NOT load at all. I cant even give this app a more detailed review because it wont even load up it just stays frozen on the startup. Useless youd expect more from a company that holds themselves in such high regards for their service

Third time trying to write. I know all these names are not taken as it is mine. Quit redirecting me to download the app when I try to access shows from the web site. The app is a piece of junk. The only on demand you get off the app is failure to load errors. This is a piece of mess. And a joke.

This new app has some good qualities like the skip and rewind buttons but thats basically it. Im disappointed that whatever you watch does not go away after fully watching it and it keeps prompting you to finish. Also no queue or saving feature? No clear history option for things I change my mind and dont want to watch? Worst of all is that there isnt a filter to sort what kind of movies or shows you want to watch, so I have to sift through horror movies and/or nudity?? Yeah thanks.

Since the upgrade was released this app no longer works. It is constently loading, as part of our package i expect this app to wirk and will ve complaining to comcast

This a joke!! The old app worked!! This one not at all.

I am on my home wifi and I still cant watch to tic show. What is the purpose of this app if I have to be home to watch a TV show and then when Im home I still cant watch a TV show this is ridiculous the old it was much better.

You really want this app to be good but it just fails to deliver on what it promises. Some bug in the app doesnt play your full recording when you download it and you wind up stuck with a recording that starts thirty minutes after it is supposed to. Its been at least a month with no resolution from Comcast.

Recordings work most of the time. Good on demand content.

Used to love this app and rarely had an issue. Once this app became Stream TV I have had nothing but problems. Constant playback errors. Its really a shame because the old app used to work just fine. I hope the bugs are worked out soon...

Wish I could give zero stars. Useless app. I travel 26+ weeks a year and thought the app would be great for watching my hometown news and tv shows. Nope! Only works while you are in your home network. Dont need it when I am home I have my own tv to watch the shows. Totally useless.

All I want to do is watch basketball, but this stupid app says I can only watch it on the TV. Fix it.

Now it wont even load the app. There wasnt anything wrong with the old app. This new one is terrible. Also the one app had closed caption. This new one doesnt ....update march 2017: many movies do not have sound!

The former Xfinity app was not very good, this new version is terrible. Watching shows on demand is not too bad, though much slower than Netflix. Dont even bother downloading any shows you have recorded - playback is so fragmented and corrupted you cant follow the show. Youd think after all the iterations of this app they would get it right, or at least get better, but not this one. Try again- from scratch this time.

Has never loaded but two or three of my recorded shows.

More and more often programs are recorded incompletely Errors streaming recorded programs Its getting worse and worse... very rare to have a program accessible on my mobile device in its entirety
