Ever since upgrading to iOS 10.3 I am unable to use the Stream app. I have two options once signed in - under the Saved tab (the only tab that appears) I have Purchases and Downloads. The only content that shows up is under Purchases - The Goldbergs. No one in my house watches The Goldbergs.
When this app works its a 5 star app! However, after this update I cant schedule recordings in advance. I can record a show on right now, but I cant record something later tonight, tomorrow, next week, etc... Also, the listings no longer show the little red dot indicating a show is going to record. Please fix this.
Nothing on this app works right. I have deleted it and re downloaded it multiple times and spent hours on the phone with Comcast (terrible customer service) trying to fix the app. I record shows on it and they will play shakily for a minute before an error pops up and they stop working. I thought downloading the shows onto my device would fix this, but even now the shows still have trouble playing, taking long times to load. Ive wasted so much time trying to get this app to work and it wont. Please fix it as it is a great idea and would be amazing if it worked properly.
It wont let me watch my recorded shows without stopping and shutting down every 2 minutes. Then I have to start all over and fast forward to where it left off. Then randomly it will say "Video Not Available". Im not impressed with the app at all and honestly it doesnt surprise me coming from xfinity. I really need to switch providers.
Works ok except for CNN. It almost never works when streaming outside the home over LTE.
This is one of the worst apps. It works about 20% of the time. When it does work, its great, but there is so much frustration surrounding the stability and user experience that it makes it difficult to give it anymore than 1 star - especially when you compare it to streaming apps like Netflix, which is amazing. One of the issues is that it takes such a long time to download the files, but that is the least of its issues. The bigger issues are that it hardly plays the videos without stuttering, jumping, corrupting the app, crashing the app, artifacts, etc. basically making the videos unwatchable. The second thing is that for some unknown reason it breaks up the recording into two segments, but only downloads one of them. I would say that with the new version, some of the issues are better, but not anywhere close to making it reliable. I really hope they figure out these issues and fix them.
This is way better than DirecTV. I am sold on it.
With the new update I decided to try it. It doesnt crash anymore but now most of my recordings dont show up, more then half the time shows dont delete and it doesnt show what is scheduled to be recorded. Playing shows it seems to be better but occasionally it has hiccups. In some ways it is worse then before. Previous review----apple should allow people to leave a new review with updated apps I am a long time Apple App Store user. I have finally had it with this app. Im deleting it. It keeps crashing. By far the worst app I have ever come across

This app is a great app to stream your Channels! On your Phone or Tablet But Please You Guys Need To Make The (Xfinity Stream App) For The APPLE TV ?!!!! IT WILL BE EVEN BETTER!
A lot of the shows are only available in home, whats the point of the app if you cant watch the shows you record out of home... it could be good, maybe even great, if only you could watch what you record out of home...
Since the last upgrade, the app keep taking me to HD channels; and I cant watch the Comcast Washington content (which is part of my package) because my package doesnt include HD content. Please fix this glitch!!!
Who coded this POS? Sure feels "outsourced" to me. I cant watch shows Ive recorded cuz it craps out so frequently. And its not the connection because it behaves the same whether Im on my Comcast wifi or LTE. Total buzzkill for the amount of money we pay every month. Junk junk junk. Fix it.
Please fix the app!! Since the last upgrade, anything I want to watch seems to load, then immediately goes to pause, fast forwards a few minutes, then pauses again. Its not working. Please fix. Thank you.
Since this last update to "streaming" service this app no longer works. It shows my available content without letting me go into it. When I click something it just shows three loading dots and keeps showing them indefinitely. Please allow us to go back to the aforementioned "tv" non-streaming version. At least there the only issue was that you had a bubble pop up for less than a second asking if you wanted to start from the beginning or resume play from where you left off. That was annoying but at least it worked better than not at all.
Deleted this app because it doesnt recognize when Im at home...ever. Useless.

Seems to be more problematic after each upgrade. Now I cant even watch my shows. Why have an app when I cant even use it? Its quite frustrating. Maybe stop upgrading so often to fix one tiny bug each week and do one bigger upgrade once a month ?
