Why doesnt this ever work right?

Im on my home network sitting next to my modem and this still says I need to be on my home network to view tv channels.... Yes, our bill is paid... Everything else works..... Kind of. The X1 remotes lag big time. Yes, I have new batteries in them. Voice search is kind of a joke. That never works right. The set up on the new remote is confusing. Why so many buttons if I should be able to tell it what to do? Yeah, returning some of this stuff.....

Too much advertising and super full of bugs

Toooooo much advertising in the On Demand section. Had to stop watching. Its unbearable. Its full of bugs too. It stops the streaming saying "too many devices streaming". It also stops saying that I have to be connected to the network when I am connected to the network.

Too slow

Takes too long to load anything. Crashes at least once after it loads. Then tells me my package needs to be upgraded to watch certain channels. Poop.

Why the bad reviews?

I love this app. Very clean interface, and works great on the 9.7 iPad Pro. I can watch all of my channels (PiP available), watch my recordings, and schedule recordings. I thin comcast has done a great job leaping forward with technology.

After last update, app is slow and always crashes.

After latest update, this app is almost unusable. Slow load times and constant crashing.

Used to work, now broken

The title says it all. App launches but all I get is an indication that its loading. But it never does.

Nothing but bugs

This app is a great concept. It would be wonderful if it actually worked. A recorded show either doesnt show up on the list at all or when it does show up it wont play. If it does start to play it never plays the whole show. It aggravates and frustrates me to the point of wanting to cancel xfinity altogether since this is the whole reason Ive been keeping it. Wish they would just fix the app instead but I guess that isnt going to happen.

buggy, slow, crashes

riddled with bugs and slowness and more slowness. 500 data issue on search. every operation takes multiple tens of seconds. the innovation is the slowness and bugs since Amazon, hulu, netflix and a host of others do it better and faster.

FIX WHATS NEEDED MOST!!

I was so excited when I saw an update available in March, but what DESPERATELY needed fixing wasnt!! Nobody cares about a "Lovely Left Menu" and what good does PIP do if you cant even get thru a recorded show on one picture viewing!! There is STILL constant green screen- pixelated playback, or programs stop midway and start back up in the beginning. It is SO frustrating!! COMCAST TECHNICIANS......READ YOUR CUSTOMERS REVIEWS....PLEEEEASE FIX!! How can you continue to promote this as a feature of X1 when this app works so poorly?? IF this app worked as promised, the entire X1 package would be absolutely awesome!! Please get it to that level!! I would gladly sing your praises on a new review!!! This app needs a lot of work to get there! I hope you read this...thanks for your time!!

App review

I switched from Dish Network because their Mobil app sucked. I cant believe this ones even worse. It plays for about 10 seconds then stops, does nothing, then starts and stops 5 seconds later. Sometimes I have to restart to get anything. Its not the wifi signal because I have all the bars. Please fix this app.

Extremely frustrated with the lack of ability to watch "In-Home" channels on my iOS devices when connected to my home network. I only ever get the following error message even though I am indeed subscribed to the channel Im trying to watch. Subscription Required :: 12012 Your subscription does not include this channel. Please choose another channel.

Good for 30 min

Crashes about every half hour. Read the reviews. Its happening to everyone.

Shows stuck, recordings not populating

My biggest complaint right now is that the shows I record arent coming up in the app. Its hit or miss, but all of my kids shows pop up, anything I want to watch now doesnt. Youve created a special kind of hell for me. Second issue: The recording I do get to watch? Well, those constantly restart or get stuck at a place in the episode and just repeat it over and over and over, never allowing me to get to the end. Im really starting to think this app is a bad joke.

If I could give 0 stars I would.

This app is actually worse than Comcast customer service, I didnt think that was possible. It constantly gives me errors about not being connected to my home network when I am. I also get other errors such as unexpected empty response when I finally find a show that will play the video will freeze and I will only get sound. Just terrible.

Crashes

This app crashes or freezes during live or recorded shows. I have to do a reset on my device an order to continue watching. Fix the bugs already

Are Crashes and bugs even worth one star?

Constantly being promoted on tv ads but Im lucky if I can even get the recordings to load let alone play. When they do play they are glitchy and remind me of groundhogs day by playing the same ten min of a program then playing it again and again and again. I cannot understand a huge corporation promoting an app that so clearly was not ready for consumers. Its unbelievable really. As if I needed another reason to despise Comcast....

Cant watch from Xfinity and beyond

The app constantly freezes and is unreliable on both iPad and laptop. Cant watch TV shows at home even though We have Internet and wifi. It is the 21st century and the technology should reflect that. I thought that the days of being anchored to a TV set were over.

Useless!

This app is basically useless. The shows skip around or dont work at all. Its so frustrating and never seems to get any better. Lately, its gotten much worse.

Constant updating means constant new reasons to crash

I just want to be able to consistently open the app and watch TV. Which is really the main purpose of the app. Yet, sadly, it cant do this one task.
