Xfinity Stream App Reviews

This app works about 50% of the time. Im on Verizon and mostly xfinity wifi. Error messages and downloads crap out more often than not. Please fix it. Starting to shop new options.

What is taking Comcast so long? Many consumers want to be able to view the XFINITY service on all their devices including and Apple TV. What gives Comcast? Are you really going to lose my business and others to Hulu, Vue, DIRECTV Now, etc...

Well, Sunday morning, most of it is fixed. I think they stuck in a series of commercials before Blues Brothers. Kind of changes the definition of a recording. I still have three recordings unwatchable. It is now over a month. The problem was ESCALATED over three weeks ago. No contact. Update as of 7/23. Hey the data issue 404 got fixed. However, I now have 14 recordings. I can play NONE of them. Movies on demand - DOES NOT WORK. Try playing the Blues Brothers. See what you get. It does not matter what device, nor what internet path you use. If I use my cell phone without wifi it does not work either. COMCAST - PLEASE FIX Update as of 7/3. I looked at movies on demand. I found 29 movies with "Data Issue::404" I did not poll all the movies. There has been no resolution on the playback errors. COMCAST, FIX THIS. I AM PAYING FOR THIS. I have this error on the playback of some recordings. We tried to troubleshoot on chat. That led to my modem going down 4 times in an hour. That is a sure fire way to end a chat session. We then had extremely limited service. We could only get some 13 channels. We tried phone help at several different levels. We checked our account. OK there. Everybody bewildered. We found a forum, spelled it out, did some private email, and got the service back along with our 8001 error. A tech was sent out. Every connection from the pole to the modem was disconnected, inspected, and renewed. This installation is less than a year old. The signal strength is great. This modem has two speeds, which Comcast joined. The tech split them. The 8001 error persists. Techs do NOT troubleshoot apps. Somebody was supposed to call yesterday afternoon. It did not happen. COMCAST, FIX THE APP!

This app is great, if you enjoy watching ads over and over again while your position in the show youre watching keeps getting reset to an earlier part of the episode. For everyone else, this app is an awful experience.

The best app

This app is getting on my nerves. Im trying to watch shows, AT HOME. NOT EVEN ON THE GO. Yet this app is skipping, freezing up, and at times not allowing me to watch on demand or recorded shows. The Wifi connection is fine, and when I tried to make sure it was or wasnt the Wifi, this app still wont work right. Fix this app. Sincerely your "loyal" customer.

This app is a ridiculous waste of time! I cant watch anything I want to see even though its part of my subscription!

Why is chrome cast not supported. Every major streaming service does it but Xfninty. This is ridiculous

I love this app for watching movie and tv shows such as greys anatomy twilight and ect. But there are alot of ads and sometimes it will not load

What a frustrating piece of crap app. Half the time it has errors when you try to search movies or tv shows, the other half of the time it drops the wifi signal. Xfinity you charge your customers a fortune, try spending a few dollars and hire someone competent to develop a app that works.

I totally enjoy this app. I recommend it to anyone that enjoy watching tv on the go.

After they pulled the whole "your promotion has expired" trick and charged me double for my monthly payment, I was excited to hear about the "new promotion" which promised internet and streaming tv for the same price I "was" paying. But of course the customer service representatives had heavy accents and had a hard time understanding my questions about how to get this service on a Samsung tv, I just hung up and thought to myself " hey this, has to be easy like Netflix". Boy, was I wrong . I have a Samsung Smart TV and I dont think there is a xfinity stream app for that brand. You would think with the amount of money that xfinity has they could produce a better product but this is a continuation of a long history of horrible customer service with this company.

This is hot garbage. You cant watch something for more than 10 minutes without it buffering for a minute. Particularly NBC. I have tried watching one episode of americas got talent for 4 days and I havent gotten past 10 minutes. Unless you plan on watching the screen buffer longer than the actual show youre trying to watch, dont get this pathetic excuse of an app.

It gives the chance to watch movies and tv anywhere you want but it doesnt work half the time because Im not on my "home" service, but the problem is I actually am.

We have had online access thru our Xfinity account for years. Suddenly, today, we cannot access a single channel. We receive a notice on a black screen that says "Subscription required::3329". We have the subscription and have logged on with the proper ID and password. We are able to see all the listings but are unable to access any! Please help! Update...xfinity app working fine today. Yay!

Current version cant download and crashes. Update: most of the channels arent available even within my home. BUG TO FIX. Nothing works with this app. And when it appears to work, you just get home to dozens of recordings that did not display on the app.

I used to love this app now it tells me I can only watch through home wifi when Im home and connected to my wifi and now it also tells me me Im not subscribed to channels I know Im subscribed to and pay for. Please put it back the way it used to be at least then it worked. The way it is now I give zero stars but to submit this I have to give it one
